We had the pleasure of living next door to David and Wendy for 17 years.Sarah and Claire were just a year old when our daughter Zoe was born and very quickly a strong bond was formed.We were also lucky enough to share the wonderful Belinda( the twins nanny) for a short period of time for our son Joe- and so we spent many hours in each others conpany.                            
As a family we have so many happy memories from those days.David was so proud of his family- and his house and garden and was always finding jobs to keep him busy. One of our favourite memories from that time( along with walks to the pub) is the curry evenings!There was always an abundance of food, wine and entertaining stories. David loved recounting stories!                                                     
The last time we saw David was looking through the window as he lay in bed. His smile when he saw us was beautiful and throughout all his recent challenges it is his smile we will always remember.
